On the way to work during a snow storm, my engine started shifting between 2 and 3 on its own. I felt like I was dragging something but could not see it. My check engine light came on. I dragged the car to the dealer only to find out that the brake fluid on my rear tires had both leaked out and unglued my break shoes. One came clean off and the other cracked in half and got stuck in my wheel well and did not allow my tire to turn. They gave me new brakes and I purchased new tires.
