My heater stopped working, but the A/C functions fine. Dodge dealership concluded that the repair was a small door that somehow control the air flow between hot and cold somehow is "stuck on cold". Apparently, they claim the only way to repair this is to remove the dashboard, and replace/repair this defect.
Estimated repair price 1000 dollars. luckily I live in Southern California, no harsh winters, so I deal with it.

Had this worked on last winter twice, ended up driving another vehicle on really cold days. Same problem this year, had different mechanics each time. This auto has been a piece of , nothing has been covered under the warranty or extended warranty. Add this to all the other issues I'm listing.

I have had my mechanic look at it 3x. The heat works when I pick up truck, but then the heat turns to cold air after a few minutes. The heat dial is turned on all the way. I can only leave dial on 2nd setting to get some kind of heat. The higher I turn up dial the faster the cold air comes out. Also when I do have heat it is blowing more out of the right vents than the left. The coolant is filled. This problem has been going on since November 2014.
Something needs to be done about this. Online there are other owners complaining of the same issue.

No heat in Pennsylvania winters, that's fun. Have considered replacing heater core but haven't been able to talk ourselves into a big garage bill or the hassle of doing it ourselves.
