The contact owns a graco child restraint seat, model number: 1770254, manufactured December 20, 2011. The child restraint was being utilized in a 2009 Dodge Nitro. The contact stated that the vehicle was involved in a crash while a child was seated in the restraint behind the driver's seat. The contact was struck from the rear. The child restraint detached from the base and was thrown behind the passenger's seat. The child was not injured. The manufacturer was not contacted.
