In the 6 month of owning my 2007 dodge nitro, the cruise control went out. I took my car to the dealership, and ever since then every 4-8 months the dealership and repalced by cruise control or wiring harness or something else. I'm only 5ft tall and really need the cruise control in my car when I drive any distance. I told the dealership, when the humidity is high or when there is a lot of moisture is when the cruise control goes out. They tell me it has nothing to do with it..Chrysler engineers say there is no reason for this to go out...I want my car fixed.

My cruise control first went out the 6 month I owned this Brand New 2007 Nitro, every 4-8 months Chrysler has replaced the cruise control, wiring harness or something else in the steering column. The cruise control seems to go out when there is a lot of moisture or the humidity is very high. Chrysler says bring it back into the dealership again and see if they can try something else...how many something else's are there. Before they admit something is wrong with my SUV?
