problem #1

May 012014

Nitro LX 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 87,000 miles

I bought this vehicle new. Since then the rain leaks into the interior cabin, have been repetitious and severe. I have had the windshield replaced, the heater cover and gaskets, the door gaskets on both sides, and the electrical wiring harness gasket thru the drivers side door. The drains in the sun roof and below the windshield are constantly plugging up which also sends the water into the cabin. On the most recent incident I had to take the car back 4 times before they finally resolved the problem.

I have had to replace the brakes and rotors several times with only 89,000 miles presently on the vehicle. Most recently I am having replace the oil and transmission pans and gaskets at a cost of $865.00 as they are rotted out. My fiance' owned a Dodge Ram pick up and all the fuel lines rotted out in under 50.000 miles. I owned an Isuzu Trooper for over 10 years and 200,000 miles and nothing ever rotted out, or leaked. My Dodge dealer accepts no responsibility for poor quality design or components. I would never again purchase a Dodge or Jeep vehicle.
