On 3/15/2022 I took my 2008 Dodge Nitro SXL to Mr. Tire to get an oil change, and I began to tell them about the problem I was having with the engine not firing back up after I cut off the engine, and tried to start it up again. The engine would only shake. I explained the manager thing to the manager Mr. John Wamihoff. Mr. John Wamihoff said he thought he might be able to fix it. So I gave Mr. Tire Automotive permission to do so. Mr. John explained to me, and my fiance after spending several hours there that they could not fix the truck. The total charge would have been $604.00. After Mr. Wamihoff explained that they could not fix it. Mr. Tire Auto Service center charged me $238.00 for shop supply fees. Mr. Wamihoff recommended that I take the car to the dealer. I didn't take it right away because I needed to save more money to get it fixed; so I decided that I would catch the Mass transit bus service to take me to church, market, and doctor's appointments. So I let the truck sit.
On April 20, 2022, I took the truck to Thompson Automotive Group Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram on 124 North Point Blvd, in Baltimore, MD. I was told that it might take 3 days to fix; so I allowed them to keep the vehicle until that time. After a week went by and I did not hear from them I called again on April 30, 2022, and was told that they are still working on it. I said ok and asked the customer service rep. to have the mechanic call me because I wanted to know the status of my vehicle. I never received a call back from the mechanic. So I gave them 6 more days, and when I did not receive a word from them I faxed them on May 6, 2022, Still no response. On May 7th I called again and spoke to a customer service representative by the name of Courtney. She explained that the mechanic told her that I needed TIPM, but they would have to make it, and she went further to tell me that it had something to do with the fuse box. She also told me that it would cost $3,300.00 even if the TIPM did not work. Ms. Courtney said she was told that they would have to make the TIPM and program it for my vehicle.
I told Ms. Courtney that I would speak with my family about this: and when we came to a decision I would call her the same day which I did. I left a message on her voicemail that I would be there Monday 05/09/22 to pick up my truck. I also faxed her to let her know that I would be there on Monday 05/09/22 at approximately 1:12 pm to inform her that I will be there to pick up the vehicle. Just in case she didn't pick up her voicemail messages. So I am letting you know that today is 5/7/22 and I will be there on 5/9/22.
