The engine simply shuts off while driving.

I love the car and want to repair it. The control unit has been checked and is OK, but the problem persists.

Nitro SLT 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission

It's next to impossible to get started and stalls if you don't keep revving the engine. It stalls when you drive down the street, slow down to turn the corner, stop at a light. All the time you have to drive with two feet and it's very scary. And it sucks big time. Waste of money to buy this piece of sh*t!

Car stalls out unexpectedly. Is too dangerous to drive unless TIPM is replaced. This should be a recall on my 2008 Dodge Nitro.
