Bought extended warranty on used 2011 Dodge Nitro in 2013 with 40k miles on it. The gas cap light has yet to go off no matter how many times we brought it in, the AC failed within 2 months, the dealer said they fixed it in December, when it was cool outside. They did not, then again in January, so we took it to local Dodge dealer, more of the same, cannot fix it, sent us back to open ticket dealer and failed to inform me if my warranty even covered it.
I have always been a Doge / Mopar fanatic, but this Nitro has turned me against the purchase of another Dodge / Jeep product I fear forever. Took a great deal of coercing to convince my wife that this was the vehicle for us, she finally conceded and loves the vehicle, but the heater / AC is absolutely horrible and the issues with it and the dealers and warranties have forced me to stop backing Dodge and looking at other manufacturers, I even looked at FORD's, man that pisses me off the most. Wish Dodge could restore my faith, but I don't know if the bitter taste will ever leave me.
