Truck running hot in stop and go traffic in early spring weather. A/C would not work. Had thermostat & A/C motor replaced. Everything OK until hot weather struck, then running hot to the point of overheating in hot weather in stop and go traffic. Had fan clutch replaced. Problem solved. Also noticed a "surging" sound in the engine when truck was idling. Fan clutch replacement also cured this disease.

For an inexperienced person it could be dangerous, especially in the winter time. The heater blower just stops working, allowing the windshield to freeze up. The problem is in the steering column (switch /key tumbler).
THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL....... IT IS DANGEROUS IN WINTER FOR AN UNSUSPECTING PERSON.

This is going in for the 5th time. Dealing with Chrysler Customer Service in the U.S. was fine. Had the problem repaired at no cost 4 times. Now the 5th time, and you get the reps overseas. Send a letter to Chrysler , stand your ground. It will be fixed for the 5th time, I won't pay a dime, and they can continue to fix this as long as I own it.
