When I stop for gas, I try to fill the gas tank, gas comes gushing out from around the tank opening. This has happened several times. About a pint or more sprays out all over me the side of my vehicle and the ground. I am afraid of the volatility of the gas so I won't take a photo for fear of a spark. Not only is this physical getting fuel on my person but an environment hazard too. Need help soon the factory won't do anything about it although they have fixed similar trucks that do the exact same thing, they say I am not covered! they say it is happening because of the roll-over valve sticking. Not only am I at risk of burning up at the station, I could be incinerated in a roll-over crash!!

While trying to fill fuel tank stationary at a gas station, fuel spills out and shuts down fuel filling nozzle, dealer replaced fuel fill tube on 11/22/2017 but this did not correct the problem. Now Chrysler wants me to B pay them to find the problem. I have read many Dodge forums with hundred of owners having this same issue.

Vehicle stalls after a gas fill-up. I start my truck after filling up at the pump. Pull out of the station, go a little ways down the road, stop at a stoplight. Sit at idle for maybe 30 seconds & the truck dies. The truck only does this after fillups. No check engine. No codes. Looks like there are a lot of people complaining about the same thing. This has been happening constantly after every fill up. The truck runs fine afterwards.

This vehicle has given me many problems and most recently very dangerous ones. A few months ago on my way to work around 4am the drive shaft broke off and flew out at 75 mph. Luckily there wasn't much traffic during that time and the back part of the drive shaft is the one that broke off not the front so the truck didn't flip over. The truck has been repaired since then. Now a few days ago my pregnant wife was driving the truck and it turned off on her in the middle of an intersection while I was working out of town. On my return I found the electric throttle control light on at the dashboard. In doing some research I found that this is typically in relation to a bad fuel pump relay. I found this to be more than common on many Dodge vehicles and obviously a very dangerous problem to have. The fuel pump relay on my vehicle seems to be integrated into the tipm and not serviceable. There also seems to not be a recall for this problem. It now appears I am being forced to spend $1200 on a manufacturer defect. This vehicle has gone from being my daily commuter to a huge liability because I am not sure what will happen next.

Recently went over 100K miles and fuel tank is not filling properly, as it actually trips the pump every half gallon or so. After getting tank filled, truck stalls for about the first 15 miles. Truck has stalled at intersections, while driving at speed, coming to a stop, etc. After about 15 miles, stalling stops, but once again the truck will not take fuel properly. Called dealership and they want to replace fuel tank with an exact replica that still has not fixed the problem. According to local dealership and online research, problem is stated to be a stuck vent line valve internal to the gas tank. Almost $2,000 dollars wanted to replace this tank with another tank that has not been fixed. When truck does stall, loss of steering, brakes, etc. Until I drop it into neutral, start it again, and put back in drive while all the time trying to make sure I do not cause an accident.

After you fuel up the vehicle will shortly stall several times afterwards. Leaving you with no power steering. I am concerned about the safety of myself and others. This is happened to me many times on public roads and even highways. I would have almost crashed if I had not noticed that I had lost power steering. I have also heard complaints from other people who say the same about there Dodge pickup of similar year. I feel like this should be a big concern, and I should be doing more to fix this problem.

Fuel tank inlet check valve has failed, not allowing fuel to enter gas tank during fill ups at gas station. Under a warranty extension (X49) vehicles between mdh #020108-063023 are accepted although the same part and issue is coming up on my vehicle with mdh # 110821 of the same model year. It is not covered under a very limited recall used to cover for a much larger problem concerning made vehicles manufactured under Chrysler. This is a much larger and widely reported problem than the manufacturer is representing due to the large recall and repair costs it would take on. The consumer must now replaced the whole fuel tank due to the fuel tank inlet valve being molded into the tank, which is extremely costly.

Vehicle engine will die/stall when gas is full, especially when going around corners or stopping quickly as in for an emergency. Sometimes just dies when slowing down. Seems to be related to gas moving around in the gas tank when it is full or close to full. When vehicle dies power steering and brakes are also lost making it difficult to maintain control and it quickly becomes a dangerous situation trying to maintain control of a vehicle that weights thousands of pounds while moving along a busy street. Very dangerous.

After the fuel tank is filled, when slowing down or coming to a stop the vehicle will stall and die in traffic and is slow to restart. The dash shows a "check gauges" light, however there are no codes thrown. The dealer has said that the fuel tank needs to be replaced but if this is the case is seems that it is a design flaw.

I was just notified for a problem with my air bag. I had another recall about my gas filler tube, repaired by Dodge. I was not notified about any of the front suspension recalls or problems with the wheel bearing. This part failed about two years ago and I had it replaced but never received a recall. I still have the original wheel bearing part that was given me at replacement. What is going on" is my front end going to fail while my family is driving it" I only have 89,000 miles on my truck. I would like an answer.

Second owner vehicle bought Aug 2015 with approximately 32000 miles. Every time fuel is added to the vehicle, no matter which pump I use, fuel gushes from the filler neck of the vehicle. This occurs even if I fill the tank slowly not using the automatic filler on the pump. If the tank is filled to full it will overflow. Approximately a pint of gasoline shoots out of the filler neck and down the side of the vehicle onto the ground and myself. This is a well documented complaint with these vehicles. Please tell Chrysler to fix this environmental and safety hazard.
