Truck will not start. Technician found an internal fault on the tipm module. Will need to be replaced. Currently, there is a fault of the tipm module, if the tipm module fails (loss of power to fuel pump), could lead to a crash/loss of life.

There is no power going to my fuel pump. The fuses are good. The only thing I can come up with is tipm not working.

Truck will not start, stalls out in traffic and fuel pump continues to run even after vehicle is turned off and key removed. Diagnosed as totally integrated power module. Dodge recalled the same part on the 2011 durango but not the Ram pick up.
- Cathedral City, CA, USA
The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled multiple times. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and the fuel pump module was repaired. A second repair was performed on the vapor canister, but the failure recurred. The dealer stated that the integrated power module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 53,292.

Truck stalls when coming to a stop. Truck stalls whenever shifting from park into reverse drive. Rattling sound coming from under truck. Dealership diagnosed it to a defective torque converter and is replacing it and the transmission fluid pump.
- Dawson Creek, AL, USA
I ran into this issue last winter and when the weather warmed up it went away. Now, again in decemeber, when fueling the truck at the pump, after it reaches full capacity it spits fuel back out all over the truck and onto the ground. Does it at every pump. The dealer looked at it last year and couldn't find anything. This is a common and known issue with other Dodge and Jeep models.
- House Springs, MO, USA
I purchased this truck used a few months ago and gas splashes out of the filler tube if you try to fill up the tank, after the gas pump nozzle clicks off, a considerable amount of gas comes back out, I first thought it was a nozzle problem at the pump but realized it was an issue with the truck after trying several different gas stations.
