: the contact stated the vehicle does not stop correctly or safely. The dealership determined this was because the vacuum motor does not have the proper check valve. The brake pedal becomes very hard and lacks power assist, increasing the stopping distance. The brake light illuminated on the dash each time this occurred. Updated 5/30/06

I hear a click or snap and it feels like the brakes are wet or they oil on them, it just keeps going I have gone off the road on the shoulder and also into the ditch a couple of times to avoid the vehicle in front of me.
