For 3 years and 30,000 miles, I have made 3 trips to reno Dodge for service under warranty because the vehicle does not drive straight. It pulls to the right. For the last three years, Dodge has told me that it doesn't. after my trip to Kansas and keeping the wheel cranked 1/4 turn to the left to keep the truck going straight, all the way there and back, I was fed up.
- Reno, NV, USA
Excessive pedal effort required to stop vehicle in normal braking situations. Front brakes smoke during hard stops or in stop and go traffic. It also gives off a burning smell. Brought back to dealer 2 times and they state that it is "normal". I just found out that in 1997, Dodge changed the master cylinder on this truck to a larger unit. The rest of the brake system components are the same. I would think that this would solve my problem.
