Ram 2500 6-cyl, Turbo Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

Not long after I bought it used, got a "bump steer" going and had to have the ball joints replaced. Dealer was incompetent (scheduled on day when the "front end guy" wasn't there), then limited allowed time on rental car, plus dealer trying to charge extra for alignment (that should be part of repair) made this a real hassle to deal with.

Ram 2500 Diesel

  • Manual transmission
  • 73,000 miles

I had to replace the ball joints at 73000. Bad design. They should have lasted longer. Certified mec changed them for me at a cost of 500. Hope these last longer.
