At first this 2003 Dodge wouldn't start without being plugged in. Then it wouldn't start even when plugged in when it was cold (heater working), then it wouldn't cold start no matter what until you sprayed a little starting fluid into the small hole in the air cleaner cover. Once you got it started it would run for the rest of the day no matter how many times you needed to start it, but let it sit over night it, wouldn't start. And it ran smooth and strong. Now it won't start at all. We replaced 3 sensors (had to buy 2002 sensors because the 2003 were the wrong ones!!). Changed the fuel filter and cleaned the canister. Replaced the lift pump. It has been at the Dodge repair shop all winter!! They can find nothing wrong with it, everything tests ok but it won't start. If you look online there is a plethora of complaints but none of the solutions work on my truck. The shop has opened a claim with Chrysler/Dodge and no solutions. I feel like this is a problem that was built into the 02/03 Dodges and that Chrysler/Dodge is refusing to acknowledge, address, or fix the problem.
