THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION WHEN DRIVING IN MOUNTAIN AREAS, ONE MINUTE YOU HAVE A MOTOR, THE NEXT YOU HAVE NOTHING, BUT A PILE OF JUNK. THIS 2004/2500 WITH THE 5.7 HEMI (RATHER PAIN IN THE NECK) DECIDES IT IS GOING TO SHUT DOWN AND LEAVE YOU WITHOUT ANY POWER. IT DOES THIS AND LEAVES NO CODES, SO OBVIOUS IT NEEDS ELEC. POWER TO LEAVE A CODE. REPLACED TPS. CLEANED THE THROTTLE BODY STILL THE SAME PROBLEM. CHRYSLER SHOULD THROW THE COMPUTER OUT, AND GO BACK TO THE BASIC THEORY. SPARK AND GAS AND YOUR VEHICLE RUNS & STAYS RUNNING UNTIL YOU SHUT IT DOWN.
TOOK IT TOO THE DEALER,THEY DRIVE AROUND THE BLOCK NOTHING HAPPENS. WITH NO CODES BEING SET THEY DO NOT KNOW ANY THING EXCEPT I DON'T KNOW. I HAVE DRIVEN CHRYSLER PRODUCTS SINCE 1942 AND UP AS A COMMERCIAL SALES TRAVELER AND AVERAGING 108 000 MILES A YEAR, SO I HAD A FEW OF THEM. WITH THIS UNIT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I WILL FIND WHEN I GET IN IT. I AM EVEN HAVING DOUBTS AS TO HOW GOOD A BOAT ANCHOR IT WOULD MAKE?

My 2004 dodge ram started to stall after fueling it to 3/4 of a tank on 9/6/16. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM......My truck stalls at stop signs, red lights and while idling in park. I really liked dodge trucks before this problem. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DODGE TRUCK OR CAR. I'm not able to drive my truck at this time due to the unknown stalling problem. IF I HAD TO RATE THIS PROBLEM ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 TEN BEING THE WORST FOR SAFE VEHICLE OPERATION IT WOULD BE A 10... THIS PROBLEM WITH STALLING WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC COULD CASE DEATH.
