Ram 2500 ST 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 29,000 miles

going on the on ramp on highway and noticed the gears were slipping. finally made it through all the gears, going 65mph for 5 min. when she just died. called for a tow, cost me 973.00 JUST FOR TOW! got it to the shp, 3 weeks later got her back rebuilt. no explanation of why, so i went on thinking now ive got basically a new tranny ( thank god it was covered under warranty) so the hell w/ it. always taking better care of the rebuilt addition, the right fluids at the right time AND manually using my gears going up the mtns. you'll see in my next complaint that now at 46.5k the rebuilt tranny is slipping again but this time there is no warranty cause it expired last year! my biggest fear is ive got a 2008 same model with only 25k on it and its been in the shop 4 times!! you might see those complaints listed as well. i dont complain about looks, just the things that cant get me from point 'a' to point 'b'. I am not hard on my trucks. i bought them thinking they were built for the conditions i live in. They cost too much to intentionally tear up! WTH!
