This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Dodge dealer.

This 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 has been nothing more then a money pit. I had to completely replace the front end due to the death wobble issue. The oil pan had to be replaced due to rusting out. The rust is like a cancer in the fender wells. back rocker panels and cab corners. The water pump, and power steering pump had to be replaced just this week. And to top it off went to trade it in and the dealer said the would not take the truck due to an open recall for the air bags. Called Dodge customer service and they said it would be some time in 2017 before they would have the parts. And was told not to drive the truck. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very scary. believe suspension design is faulty and should be subject of a recall.

So far I have replace the whole drag link, ball joints, steering box, after market track bar, after market steering stiffener for the gear box so actually I'm in it for around $2500.00. Dodge says it is because of over sized tires, but they put a larger front end in all the 2009 models and a larger gear box which clearly shows that they know about the problem and fixed it for all the later customers. But is all my fault for using a 34.5 inch wheel. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, they are liars!!!!!!

I really like my truck, except for the death wobble problem. I wish dodge would have their people find a real solution to the issues that create this problem. I don't think it's a lot to ask to have a 3/4 ton truck that you can run over sized tires and a lift kit on with have to cringe every time your passenger side front wheel hits a pot hole, expansion joint or rail road crossing.

Extremely violent shaking of the front end on the freeway after hitting a bump. Dangerous because I had to slow down to 30 to get it back under control on the freeway.

I just had the Recall Repair completed on the Tie Rod and on my way home, pulling a 14' trailer, I hit a medium bump in the road, speed was 55 mph in a construction zone, the truck started shaking badly, steering wheel shaking side to side, I had to put on flashers and drop speed to 30 mph to regain control of steering. I almost got hit from behind by a semi truck, who flipped me off as did a few others next to me.
I think this problem should be investigated as some one is going to get killed by this happening to them.
I also just had 2 new heavy duty shock absorbers installed by SEARS 2 weeks ago.
This will keep someone else safe, please investigate this request DODGE. I love my truck and it has this issue which needs to be resolved.

While driving at about 60 mph, i hit a minor bump in the roadway and the truck started shaking violently. the only way it stopped was i had to reduce my speed to 30 mph, the problem was i was in the express lane, i was in front of a semi truck with a full load, and i had my 4 year old daughter with me. it was a very scary and dangerous situation. I recently took my truck to the "Dodge" service center, had the front end inspected by their techs. i was told "everything was tight and fine and that i needed new tires. i purchased the tires, thought the problem was fixed, got back on the highway and nearly had an accident as the shaking occurred again! I did some research and found that this scary shaking has been labeled the "DEATH WOBBLE" and that Dodge has no answer to it. I own (2) Dodge autos (as i have always owned dodges) durango, avenger, jeep wrangler, charger, and this Ram truck. Something needs to be done about this. I hope i haven't been a faithful customer to the Dodge Corp. to be let down. I feel abandoned and victimized as there is no record of a RECALL.

Aggravated, disgusted, angry.....Dealership claims they take it out for a ride and don't feel anything like I explain, but do admit somethings not right seeing as how I put new tires on and they are already worn down.

A frightening experience to go into a death wobble at highway speeds. You will literally see your life flash in front of you. Something must be done before a life or lives are lost.
