Ram 2500 2500 HD Leather 6.7L

My 2500 HD Dodge Ram switches into 4th gear after stopping, after turning the truck off while in the middle of an intersection and restarting the truck it runs great. Have taken the truck to the dealer now for the 2nd time ant it will be there for at least week waiting for the part. The tech thinks it may have a leak in the transmission ??? We will see.
