Ram 3500 SLT Cummins

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

cracked dashboard

The picture tells it all, except for the outrageous replacement price $ 450.00, plus bezel and shipping. You won't find one in a junkyard in any better shape than mine. So they have us by the gonads, either pay their price or do without. Need help in finding one for a reasonable price.

Ram 3500 5.6L Diesel

  • Manual transmission
  • 56,000 miles

i REPORTED THIS TO MY LOCAL DEALER AT THE TIME AND WAS BASICALLY TOLD "IT'S YOUR PROBLEM, COSMETIC, EVEN THOUGH TRUCK WAS STILL UDER WARRANTY. JUST KEPT A CARPET COVER ON IT. FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS IT HAS BEEN CRACKING ON ITS OWN AND SMALL PIECES HAVE COME OUT OF THE A/C striking me in the face.

No need for me to add pictures of mine since there are already thousands of pictures sent in from owners of the P/Us from a large range of years. One or two cracking could be neglect, abuse, etc. A few hundred would be a trend, thousands is an epidemic problem

Ram 3500

  • Manual transmission
  • 150,000 miles

its really pathetic when a vehicle costs as much as this 3500 one ton, and the manufacturer uses such cheap crap for the dash cover when they know it will endure a lot of heat from the sun. I live in the south!!

my dash is completely GONE!

Dodge should have to provide a replacement dash cover, even if it is at a minimal cost. I wouldn't mind paying a reasonable price to have this fixed, it makes my truck look like sh*t.

THANKS Dodge/Chrysler/Ram or whoever the hell made this piece of sh*t dash!!!

I WONT BUY ANOTHER ONE

Ram 3500

This is so sad that Dodge owners were not notified about this issue. If theres a class action, sign me up. All of it boils down to corporate greed! If anyone knows of another truck with the cummins let me know. I'll be gone for good....
