Consumer had to replace front brakes, rotors, and rear drums every 6000-7000 miles. Consumer did not do any hauling or heavy transporting with vehicle. However, this problem was serious because vehicle did not stop at times, once almost hit a child. Took vehicle to the dealer, and was told that rear drums had to be replaced. Consumer was concerned about driving the vehicle. He was afraid that he could be involved in a fatal accident.

The vehicle was 2 years old when purchased. The front brake were defective and caused the vehicle to vibrate while braking. The timing chain made noise. The spare tire was bald. The catalytic converter failed.

Ram 3500 4WD Diesel

2 year old brake pads with light use and less than 50% wear fell apart loosing partial braking ability. Pad seperated from metal backer and fell out of one side causing metal backing to grind into an lock between rotor and caliper, other side fell apart on removal of caliper.
