Ram 3500 Slt Laramie Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,000 miles

would start truck and would run for 5-10 seconds and would die, took 20 times to get through a red light then got hit in intersection by vehicle behind me when truck died, took to dodge dealer and they could not fix problem, so left truck set for over a year till finally found repair shop that fixed it. (Dodge Ram 3500 diesel dually, bought new in April 2000)

Ram 3500 SLT 5.9L Cummins

All I can say is piss poor design!!! This is not the only problems I have had. The best I can tell you is find a good diesel mechanic.
