The contact received a recall notice for NHTSA campaign id number 07V555000 (power train:automatic transmission:lever and linkage:column shift) and immediately called the dealer. A technician stated that he would have to pay a diagnostic fee prior to the repair and the parts were unavailable. The vehicle has not been repaired. The failure and current mileages were 90,000.
