Happened on both sides 2 month apart. Loud bang and rumble. Inside tire, tread came off of tire. Damaged inside of wheel well, running lights, fenders on the dually, metal supports on fender. Never had this happen in 30+ years of towing and driving trucks.

The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500. The contact stated whenever accessing the front driver side door with the manual key or remote key fob, the door would fail to release and open. The contact entered the vehicle through the front passenger side door. The malfunction was contributed to the faulty door actuator. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem the vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 53,000.
