On top of previous engine problems (5 blown turbos w/ the 6th on it's way out that I've posted previously) I lost power and experienced stalling while attempting to haul a 4.5 ton load back from the hay auction. Took it to my buddies at DC Diesel and was told that the fuel pump not only wasn't delivering fuel at the correct pressure it had been doing so for so long that my injectors were all carbed up. Had them install a Fass Fuel System and replace the injectors. Engine ran great for 3,000 mi then the turbo started acting up again. I've heard that the fuel pump is a problem as it is calibrated to a minimum delivery when new then drops below w/ age. Has anyone else heard this or experienced the same problem?
