The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 with Goodyear Wrangler sr-a tire. The contact stated that he noticed a deep crack in the sidewall of the rear driver side tire. The tire shop stated that the tire was defective and they replaced the tire. Approximately a year and half later he noticed a deep crack on the sidewall of the front driver side tire. The tire shop stated that the tire was defective. As of December 5, 2007, the shop had not replaced the tire. The failure mileage was 47,000 and current mileage 90,019.

: the contact stated while the vehicle was parked a bubble on the sidewall was noticed on the inner rear passenger tire. After the tire was changed with the spare, the vehicle was taken the dealership and the tire was replaced. Also while parked, there was sidewall separation noticed on the inner rear driver tire. The vehicle was taken to the dealership and the remaining 5 tires were replaced. These were Goodyear 23580rr17 tires.

When performing maintenance on my truck I noticed splits in the inner sidewalls of 4 tires near the bead. On tire had a 10 inch split. Two tires have been replaced, and the old tires are available for inspection. The other two defective tires will also be removed from service.

When having the tires rotated owner learned that front passenger side tire developed a six inch split. Two months later, rear passenger side tire developed a four inch split. Upon replaced tires, on 4/27/05, found 2 more tires with splits on inside sidewall.
