After months of recall notices I finally had spare time to schedule appointment on this recall. It was over a month wait to get it done since there are so many recall for Dodge. I had to schedule for 7am since I work for a living and need truck for work. I took off a few hours to get this repair done. Since I had to get up an hour early to be on time. Service dept was very adamant about being on time to get in and out I arrived 10 minutes early. The lady at the desk informs me that they don't have the parts to fix recall. Are you kidding me? this is totally unacceptable and has caused me to lose time at work because of Dodge screw up. I demand a rental truck while this service is being done when Dodge finally get the parts in.. since Dodge cares so much about the customer safety..bullsh.... if you really cared the parts would of been there this would of been handle professionally and it would be over. But hell no I have to wait till Dodge calls me to let me know parts are in and wait a freakin month to get another appointment.. I am pissed... extremely....

Having trouble obtaining a shifter cable, Dodge will not help after several attempts to contact customer service. Also, had had to replace the entire steering due to death wobble.

A/C - blower housing, keeps breaking so passenger side gets hot air, has been repaired every year until 2011. And needs it again this year. Happened so often that Dodge put an extended warranty on the A/C unit, but as soon as that expired, housing broke again. Blinkers- sometimes they come on and others they don't move the tilt or turn and miraculously they come on. Drivers side seat belt will not latch, takes numerous attempts to get it to latch

The multi function switch was defective in my vehicle. This caused the following safety concerns with the vehicle: 1) the windshield wipers did not work, 2) the turn signals did not work, and 3) the hazzard lights did not work. I have two problems with the situation: 1) while driving the vehicle during a rain storm on 9/26/2011, the windshield wipers did not work. This caused a safety concern and could have caused a potential accident and 2) while driving the vehicle, the turn signals did not work. This caused a safety concern and could have caused an accident. After taking the vehicle to the local Dodge dealership, I was informed that the multi function switch was on back order. To be exact, four thousand multi function switches were on back order per the local dealership and Chrysler group customer assistance. Neither the local dealership or the Chrysler group customer assistance had any idea when the part would be available. I asked both parties why the part is on back order since this is a matter of safety. No answer was given. After further research via the internet, it was determine that other Dodge Ram truck owners had the same type issue with their multi function switch being defective. It would be great if Dodge would notify all owners of the problem with the multi function switch and have them reviewed and/or replaced if needed. This could potentially save someone from serious injury or death from the the multi function switch being defective while driving. My hope and prayer is to have other Dodge Ram truck owners understand the importance of this problem. It could potentially save their life.

My 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 dually (diesel) truck shakes violently from 45 - 55 mph, so violently that it often takes me off the road and becomes nearly uncontrollable. I have taken it to numerous repair shops and no one can seem to find the problem. Thousands of dollars have been spent trying to fix this - I have replaced the dual stabilizer shocks, replaced ball joints, replaced traction bar, bought new tires, bought new rims, installed a new drive shaft, had the front end aligned several times, and have rotated/balanced tires 6 or 7 times. This problem started around 60,000 miles and the truck now has 100,000 miles - as you can see this problem has been ongoing for quite some time (at least a year and a half). After doing my research online I discovered that there are thousands of people who experience this exact problem with their Dodge trucks and thousands who have also filed complaints with Chrysler and ntsb. And Dodge dealerships send person after person home after reviewing their vehicles and finding no problems. These dealerships only have continued excuses for what causes the problem, ranging from "out of round" tires to poorly installed lift kits to loose bearings. I find this absurd! how can so many vehicles have exactly the same problem with such a varying degree of causes"!" Chrysler needs to own up to their faults and issue a recall before someone is killed.
