Ram 3500 LS Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 39,200 miles

Had the trans repaired and a few days later same symptoms again. Back on the appointment list for recheck of leak problems, hopefully the dealership will stand behind their service work, I can't afford another 1089.00 again this soon.

Ram 3500 LS Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 39,000 miles

I just feel that a truck with this low of mileage and a truck not abused should not be leaking internal from the pump seals or other places. If I had abused the truck I wouldn't complain. I feel that dodge should place the trans back on warranty for an additional 10,000 mile or one year after I paid out over one thousand for parts and labor and had to rent a vehicle for my transportation during the time the truck was in the shop. I have no complaints on the dealership for the repairs, they were fast and had my truck back on the road in two days. I have never had a vehicle with trans problems in the past from other types of vehicles new or old. I purchased this truck because of the diesel motor history, and thinking I purchased a heavy duty truck for long service. I have to say that I'm disappointed in the trans in this truck and the expense of repairing it before other damages were done while driving it.
