This truck is very pampered, Dodge has put such a week clutch system in this truck it can not handle any type of a load without slipping the clutch. I guess a dually with a diesel engine is just to look at. As the Dealership would not cover it under warranty, and the truck wasn't even thru the break in period.

We are a horse family and wife is a barrel racer. Bought the 3500 dually with Hemi 6.7 diesel and 6 speed manual transmission. No problems running empty but pulling a horse trailer with one to three horses is impossible in 5th and 6th gears as at 58-60 slippage of clutch occurs when having to pull a hill. It seems as if Dodge and Mercedes got together and put and undersized car clutch for "smooth shifts" into this heavy duty horse hauler and no the potentially best truck on the market is useless. Any answers for you or Dodge would be appreciated. I am looking into having the existing clutch replaced according to Dodge at my cost with one of the South Bend, Indiana and would like advice of anyone who have used them before.
Sincerely,
Bad Arrow
