Repeated failure of tire valve stems resulting in flat tires. Dealer stated that the valve stems are not sufficient quality to run the stated tire pressure of 80 pounds. They suggested running lower pressure, 60 pounds, which is not safe when towing heavy loads or to purchase and install higher quality metal valve stems. Luckily all failures have been on dually tires, however this could happen just as easily on the front tires resulting in a major accident.

My husband was driving and his truck started to shake before he could stop the tread came off his left rear dual and caused alot of damage. ($360)this happened to his front tire a few months before. This also happened to my truck last summer. I started looking up information on these tires and on consumer complaints there are 15 pages of complaints on general tires!!! do something because Continental tires who owns general is not. I have tried to do talk to them and no luck. These tires are going to kill someone if they have not already!
