tHIS IS OBVIOUSLY A MAJOR PROBLEM AND TO HAVE A NAME FOR IT AND NOT RESOLVE IT IS AMAZING! nOT JUST A WOBBLE BUT "DEATH WOBBLE" TELLS ME CHRYSLER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT SAFETY.

This is my third Dodge Ram truck and what a pain in the ass my last one is. I experienced the Death Wobble four times and each after Dodge assured me that the problem was fixed. On the last time the manager at the time told me he has never heard of the so called Death Wobble and that this was not his problem and that I should just call Chrysler. What a prick.
Since the fourth so called fix I have not experienced the problem, however I am extremely paranoid and do not feel safe in my truck, especially when my family is in the truck with me. I will never own a Dodge again especially not one form Mile High Chrysler in Butte, Mt.

Dreaded death wobble started at approx 100km/h on the highway after passing over cracks in the pavement on a corner. Shook everything loose inside the cab and didn't stop until almost a complete stop. Took it to the dealership and had it checked out over the course of several days. They said no worn or broken parts, replaced the steering shock (why) wasn't worn out. Hasn't fixed the problem. Would like Dodge to buy the piece of crap back.

At 70 MPH on a 6 lane Hwy, we crossed an expansion joint of a bridge and the truck went into a violent death wobble. Thank God we were in the outside lane and was able to hit the brakes to slow down. It stopped around 20 MPH. Took it to the dealership and they set the toe in and advised me to try it for a day or 2. It happen again on the way home. Took it back the next day. They kept for the day and told me it was fixed. They told me they had to replace a bushing that goes from the chassis to the front axle, but there has been no more issues with it.

The death wobble was intense, frightening and dangerous. Thank God there were no oncoming traffic on the bridge when it happened. My speed was 50 mph, hit the seam between the asphalt highway and the concrete bridge and then everything became a blur. The truck was vibrating so hard that it skated to the center line and remained. The wobble continued for 7 - 8 seconds and did not stop until the truck slowed below 15 mph approximately 20 yards or so.
Had a vehicle been coming in the west bound lane, there would have been a head on collision. I have done research on the Web, and with a local tire shop, this is not a new problem with Dodge Trucks and Jeeps. In fact I was told by the technician that it is quite common, along with tie rods and ball joints with the Dodge Trucks. Why on earth has this not been re-called or fixed by Chrysler?
My 2011 Dodge 3500 Quad cab Ram is extremely well taken care of, maintained, garaged and has only 33,500 miles on it (looks like new) and it nearly killed me today because a known problem/neglect has not been addressed or fixed by Chrysler/Dodge/Fiat. The truck is only driven in the winter in an emergency. Otherwise it is in the Garage.
It is a shame that I paid $60,000.00 for a truck that is totally unsafe to drive. Now I will make due with one of my other vehicles in every day usage or emergencies, rather than create an emergency for myself and the public by driving this truck. It is an accident waiting for a place to happen. Cost to repair is estimated at $350.00 - $500.00 So how much is a life(s) worth?
