Ram Van 2500 5.2L V8

the speedometer reads 5 mph faster than what I'm going and the faster I go the worst it gets. the fuel gauge does not work also. I've estimated that it gets around 500 mile on a tank of gas. also the thermostat might be going out. when i use the a/c or the heat i can smell coolant.
