Sprinter 5-cyl Diesel

While driving at highway speed or greater vehicle cuts off without warning, causing the vehicle to lose power. Owner has taken the vehicle to the dealers on several occasions. However, dealership was unable to diagnose the problem.....while driving on I-5 in California, just after passing a large semi, the power cut off. It appeared jusrt like the key had been turned off. The semi almost jack-knifed, and the vehicle alongside had to drive onto the grass medium. No incident occurred. Vehicle constantly suffered loss of power.
