.Oil leaked, had head gasket replaced in 2006 costing $1,500. This past year it started leaking again. Not sure if head gasket again or coming from another source. Getting checked. Costly, constantly putting oil in.

Alright here's the deal i have replaced 6 oil pressure sensors on my car each time i had to replace it, the reason was because it was leaking oil from the electrical end, but wasn't leaking from the threaded end that goes into the block, i have to replace this part at least every 4-6 months it doesn't matter which parts place i go to they all end up failing, i am really getting tired of fixing this part at one point it almost caused me to blow my motor up because it just all of sudden started leaking really bad so bad that it got onto the drive belt and the drive built was throwing oil all over under the hood, this problem needs to be resolved i cant keep doing this anymore.

We had owned my car for 4 years and had no problems what so ever. Then, and people please learn from my mistake, my dad once said, if you grocery shop their, don't take your car there to get your oil changed. I had taken my car to Wal-Mart to get an oil change and they informed me that the last time I was there, they stripped my oil pan! When they took it to Brickners to get it fixed, Brickners informed me that my car had a miss fire, (like I couldn't tell.....) and that my cam sensor was bad. They wanted to charge me 250 just for the sensor!!!! Please don't pay this!!!! Anybody can replace this sensor. Just get a diagram to show you where it is. It's as simple as that. It's hard to say what the symptoms all were because my car did need a tune up at that same time. The people at Brickners did tell me that there was oil around the cam sensor because the cam sensor gasket was bad. ( The cam sensor and the cam sensor gasket are all one part.)
