problem #2

Nov 302005

Stratus R/T Coupe 3.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

Transmission fails to engage in cold weather. Twice while under warranty, I took the care in to figure out what the problem was, and twice the techs "could not duplicate the problem." I even paid for a rental (yes, while under warranty) so they could start up the car in the morning, but they still found nothing wrong. Now, 3 years and 55,000 miles later, the problem is still there!

(reported on)

Stratus SE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,500 miles

transmission will not engage on cold mornings, slips and clunks periodically. this is the last thing I need with a car that just has 65K miles! Dodge is starting to wear thin with me. I will update after I have it checked out.
