The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Stratus. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph, a fire erupted from under the hood. The contact was able to extinguish the fire and drive to his residence. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnosis or repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 215,000.
