The contact called and scheduled an appointment with the same dealer however, the contact was informed that to repair the recall, the console needed to be removed however, the part needed to repair the console was on back order. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and referred the contact to the NHTSA. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.
