Strut problem: Local midas shop inspected and suggested on replacement of internal parts for possible remedy. Cruise control: Overshoots/undershoots set speed for first 5 seconds and also will not hold set speed on uphill grade.

When accelerating between 35-45 mph the vehicle stalls, takes off with a very bad jerk. For a second it stalls, and for a second it accelerates to full throttle. Vehicle is at the dealership for the third time for this problem. The dealer has not been able to fix the problem.
