The rear hatch wire harness on this Fiat 500 is flawed, it broke where the harness joins the door, shorted out and caught fire, and now I'm stuck with a charred harness and nothing works at the back, no wiper, no license plate light and no rear defogger, very poor design... the dealer doesn't want any part of it as far as fixing unless I pay up front.

F I A T should recall the car and replace with a proper wire harness, it's worst car ever.

Went for an inspection. One bulb out over rear plate. Dealorship states 2012 had a design flaw and the whole rear hatch handle needs replacing..bulbs will not fit in handle from 2012. Cost $351.00./ I will buy the part..my brother will install it!!
