Steering sticks at the center point and requires extra force to make small steering corrections. Higher speeds cause excessive swerving. This has been an ongoing problem that the dealership cannot fix. In fact several service technicians can’t duplicate the problem. I don’t know why the sticking can be felt with the engine off and making slight adjustments with the steering wheel in each direction. Highway speed is more concerning on a straight smooth road at 70 you could get pulled over for erratic driving. Fiat needs to step up and fix this safety problem. It’s now 2023 47,512 miles and the problem isn’t fixed. Service can’t duplicate it. Driving around the garage is not my idea of a road test.
