Break stated feeling a thumping while driving, not breaking, ABS sensor came on dashboard. Car stated giving me a collision warning, pre-collision not available, hill assistant warning, Blind spot detection with cross traffic, and service advance tracking. ABS sensor is faulty. My car is stuck on slippery mode, it-??s hard to turn, electrical system is faulty. Goats is not working, I can-??t turn options on or off. And it became hard to steer. I had the battery recall done. Left from dealer and they assured me that this will fix the issue. It came all back about 30 seconds after I left the dealership.

Many Bronco Sports have had this loud roaring in the rear and Ford had several patches to this issue, but none fixed the issue. Ford instructed the dealership to not attempt any more remedies to this repair until Ford had a "fix". After calling the dealership for months about the "fix" Ford was suppose have before the 4th quarter of 2024, but did not, now does not want to repair these vehicles under the warranty when the issue started and was bought to their attention. They have since stated that the repair is to replace the rear rotors and brakes as they had bearings that were coming apart causing this noise, but does not want to honor this repair. The dealership was well aware of the issue and could only advise me and others to please be patient until Ford approved a remedy for this issue, which me and many others did. We just want this to be a recall so that it can be covered as this could have caused serious issues had this part come apart upon driving or locking up and cause an accident.

While parking in a parking lot of a local store I pulled into a spot and stopped about 2 feet from a bumper post. I removed my foot from the brake pedal to pull closer to the post. The car began to idle forward. When I was as close to the post as I intended I stepped on the brake. The car continued to idle forward until I hit the post causing very minor damage to the hood of my car. After hitting the post I was stopped. I put the car in reverse and took my foot off the brake. The vehicle did not moved so i touched the gas intending to back up a foot or so. The car picked up speed. I braked, but the car continued to pick up speed. I pressed harder on the brake, feeling as though I was standing on it. The car did not stop nor slow down. While feeling as though I was standing on the brake the car sped up I would estimate to 5-7 mph. I traveled straight back across the drive lane and continued to back into the parking spot behind me and hit the bumper in that parking causing damage to my lift gate and miscellaneous electrical components and the rear bumper. I have a repair estimate for $3400. I reported to the store personnel, the local police, and was examined by emergency medical. It was determined there was no damage to store property and medical personnel found my blood pressure was mildly elevated and the I felt slightly disoriented, but otherwise tested normal. I can only surmise that this was a temporary software malfunction. Braking has returned to normal. I talked to a ford dealer's Rep and he did not know what could have caused it. He also advised I could have diagnostics started for $278. I could not afford it at that time. Please note that the police officer said i could pick up the police report, but i have not done so. Since I bought this car the brakes have been making loud noises when going in reverse. Bought in 2022 and noticed immediatly - Daytona Ford made modification to brakes on a brand new car - and to date still hearing the same noise. I have had it in multiple times and have asked to have someone listen to the brakes and stated they cannot replicate. It's so loud now that it's embarrassing to drive and only has 26k miles. It makes a moaning noise like a dying whale or something. I have an appointment on Monday with Ford in Durham - so lets see what they say about the constant loud and ongoing noises with the rear brakes.

On or around 17 May 2024, spouse was driving child to daycare. Residential speed limit was 35 mph, when dashboard alerts "Power terrain, Hill Assist, Backup Camera, Front Camera, 911 Service, Please Service Now, Shift System Fault, Parking Brake INOP" illuminated and parking brake was applied by vehicle without owner input. Upon pulling into parking lot and turning off vehicle and restarting, vehicle cleared all faults and indications. Scheduled service immediately, service center implemented recalls 22S73, 24S24, and replaced faulty gateway module and reprogrammed software, additionally test drove vehicle 5 miles without duplication of discrepancy. Upon return of vehicle, on approximately 3 June, driver alerts and parking brake self-applied and would not start. Arranged tow truck to pick up vehicle, driver tried to drive vehicle onto platform, but after starting vehicle flashed warnings across dashboard and applied parking brake without input. Service center could not duplicate problem and offered no further troubleshooting or guarantees on work. Reached out to corporate to escalate issue but was unable to reach satisfactory resolution.

Only in reverse, the brakes make a foghorn noise. I-??m aware that other 2022 bronco sports were covered under a recall for this exact issue, but mine has not. I-??m concerned about the safety and stoppage time for my car. This is not a normal squeal or grinding of worn brake pads.

This is the 3rd time this vehicle has been in for service in less than three months. The initial two visits were for a differential issue that was not completely resolved. Also, the brakes seem to have unusual wear for the mileage of the vehicle. The current visit is happening as of today and the issues are being diagnosed and appear to be potentially possibly an electrical issue. There is also a very loud squealing sound when I back up and have been told by both the dealership and Ford that it is known but there is not yet a fix. I am on the phone with Ford letting them know I do not feel safe in the vehicle and they advised to file a report here.

The rear brakes seem to drag and make a loud noise when in reverse. We have taken the car that is sill under Ford warranty to Hertrich Ford dealership in Elkton Maryland. They attempted a -??modification-?? and informed us that Ford Engineers have not come up with a fix yet as many Ford Broncos and Ford Escapes are experiencing the same problem. We asked for the Ford Field Service Engineer for our geographical area to look at the car but no response to our request to date. We asked to speak with Tommy Allen foreman of service at Heirtrich Ford and no response as to date. The dragging sensation and loud noise when the car is in reverse is worse since Heirtrich Ford made the modification to the vehicle. Brakes do not feel right when car is in reverse.

Shocks defective. Shocks to be replaced twice on this vehicle with under 50,000 miles. First replaced at about 20,000 miles. Dealership advised that original shocks and now new replacement shocks leak on inspection. Clearly a defective part. Ford knows about this problem. Ford has put out a -??service message for technicians-?? but why isn-??t there a recall" Second issue is brake issue. Ford has also issued a -??service message for technicians-?? on this issue. They are aware of the issue and customers are waiting 3 months or more for a -??bushing and hardware kit-?? for repair. Issue is detected by loud squealing when the car is backing up in reverse. Why isn-??t this a recall" The dealership is charging for these items that Ford is aware of as problems with their vehicle.
