Bronco Sport Heritage 1.5L I3

There may not be many complaints on here, but coolant leaks and bad water pumps are a big problem with the 1.5L 3cyl ecoboost engines. Do a google search.

I noticed that the coolant was low about 1 year after purchasing a new Bronco Sport. I took it into the dealership under warranty and had the water pump replaced. And now, 1 year after that, the coolant is low again, indicating there is another leak. It's currently being diagnosed and I'm waiting to hear back. These are some big red flags with less than 3 years of ownership and only 24,000 miles.

Some other potential leak sources involving the cooling system are the hoses, radiator, turbo, heater core, or head gasket. Most are expensive fixes when out of warranty, and 3 years comes up quick.
