Turned the car on in a parking lot and saw the check engine light was on. Had totally lost power steering and acceleration, and braking was extremely difficult. Rolled down the parking lot and was able to stop the car with the parking brake and turn it off. Turned it back on and the power steering and brakes and accelerator were back. Drove the car home and tried turning it on and off a few more times. Power steering seems to be completely gone. Check engine light is on.

Anytime I break or let off the gas and there is a bump or a steel plate in the road my car slides. This has been happening or 3 years now. When it rains and ita wet outside its even worse. I have brand new tires on and it still happens.

Unintended acceleration while parking the car in our garage, the car suddenly accelerated, jumped a 7 inch step and crashed into the wall. When put in reverse, the car accelerated backward with the brakes applied hard. It took about 20 feet to stop the car.

Today, I was parked on the side of the road in a residential area with the engine turned off. I checked my phone, answered a text, and then started the car. As soon as I started the car, the car rolled backward - even when I had my foot completely pressed very hard on the brake pedal (I panicked because having my foot on the brake did not prevent me from rolling backward). The car did not stop rolling backward until I hit the cement barrier on the curb, because it prevented me from continuing to roll backward. I was then able to put the car in drive and then I drove off. This is the first time that it has happened. The street I was on was slightly at an incline - it was not a steep hill but there was a slight incline.

I've had multiple incidences of a "bucking forward" of my car when braking on rough road or braking and turning right when there may be uneven road or pothole near rear tires. I've brought it for servicing, they are stumped but have suggested may involve ABS. Recently, my ABS light went on, indicating my system turned itself off. I waited 2 hours to be told that something wrong with sensor back tire which is reading that its going 250mph. They have to order part, I have to wait another 2hrs for the repair and was told it would cost me $200 as its not part of powertrain warranty. I think these things are all related and have told the service dept I predict this would be the next recall. They are brushing it off, but if anyone was in front of my car when it "bucked" forward, they could have been injured. I reported the recall for dead battery issue multiple times, was dismissed by the service dept and later that became a recall. Please look into this complaint. Thank you. I'm seriously considering getting rid of this car. Enough is enough.

While driving on the highway, a warning light came on instructing me to pull over to the side of the road and stop. When I did pulled over, I set the gearshift in "park" mode, and turned off the car. I restarted the car and didn't have any more problems that day. Subsequently, I noticed that while driving down the road the engine ( both electric and gasoline) shut off suddenly and I lost all power momentarily, then turned on as if nothing was wrong. The car has been doing this more and more frequently lately and I discovered that when I position the gearshift just past the drive mode, the problem stops. In other words, when the gear shift is set just past park, the car never loses power. When I took the car in for repair in January 2015, I was told that the gearshift was not covered by the warranty and furthermore the part is not available until the beginning of March (it's on backorder).

Attempting to slow down the car accelerated instead causing another vehicle to be struck. Ended up in a neighbors front yard 2 feet away from brick wall before it finally came to a halt. Was able to drive cmax home without further incident and intended to take car in for service on 1/21/2015. On 1/20/2015 unable to unlock with remote. Then unable to get car started and had to be towed in.
