The contact owns a 2013 Ford C-max energi. The contact stated that the door latch failed and the door was difficult to open and close. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V643000 (latches/locks/linkages). The dealer and manufacturer were called on multiple occasions and stated that the parts needed for the recall remedy were still not available and no estimated time for receiving the parts could be provided. The failure mileage was 26,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
