This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
From day 1, the AM radio reception was static-filled, on and off, with no discernible pattern. It has been in to the shop 5 times to 'diagnose and repair' - aggregate time in the shop over 6 weeks! Ford claims they replaced the radio on the 4th repair visit but I think they only replaced a part (when returned to me, all my AM presets were gone but none of my FM presets were missing).

I have a brand new car, just off the lot and a radio that does not preset station 10. I find it very annoying that Ford was aware of the problem, but did not inform me prior to purchase. I am also frustrated with the fact that there is no fix as of yet according to Ford.

Was driving car last night when I went to make hands-off phone call, using the controls on steering wheel. The control did not respond. Figured it was a problem with Bluetooth connection or something. Then I tried to turn off the radio. The control did not respond. Then tried to turn-down the radio using the analog control. The volume did not decrease.
When I returned home, I turned-off the ignition, turned off lights, and open the door. The radio continued on when I opened the door. Then I closed the door, and locked car. I could still hear the radio, but then it shut-down about a minute later.
Next morning, I came out to my car and I noticed that the car was totally dead. -- so dead, that there was not electrical power to lock the passenger doors.
