C-Max Hybrid

The contact owns a 2013 Ford C-max hybrid. While driving various speeds, the steering lost power without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the rack and pinion assembly module needed to be replaced. The contact called North central Ford at 972-584-1338 (located at 1819 N central expy, richardson, tx 75080) where it was stated that there was no recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 54,000.
