Crown Victoria

  • Automatic transmission
  • 24,000 miles

This car has to be one of Ford's all time lemons. The transmission failed at 24K miles (!) requiring a total overhaul and of course the warranty was expired. The transmission shop said they usually fail around 75,000 miles, which is still utterly awful. Other failures have also occurred and are listed separately.
