Driving down interstate 70 at 75 mph. Sudden blow-out of the sidewall of a Michelin tire with 1825 miles on it. The dealer said they had never seen anything like it on a Michelin before. I have since heard otherwise. They could not get a replacement for six days and had to rent me a car to use. There were no other Michelin tires of that size anywhere in the state. This is a new Ford Crown Victoria less than 60 days old. Right front tire. Very exciting ride for a few moments! lots of smoke.
