Crown Victoria LX

I own a 2005 Crown Victoria LX within the last few months large chips of paint from my roof & hood are falling off. Especially when it's windy. I took it to a body shop and told me what he had to do and it would be pricey. This is a factory problem. Will Ford cover the cost?
