The contact owns a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria. The contact stated that the headlights would fail whether on automatic or manual. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer to have a diagnostic performed and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 100,000 and the current mileage was 110,000. The VIN was not available.

2005 Ford crown vic approx 85,000 miles, climate control vent duct controller send all vent functions through defrost vents (A/C, floor, vent, etc). Problem seems to shift with acceleration/deceleration. For example, when using A/C, if accelerating the cool air blows through the defrost vents and not the regular A/C vents. But when braking, the vent will switch down to the A/C ducts.
